Sportec Solutions to offer services globally

DFL and Deltatre are further expanding the footprint of their joint subsidiary Sportec Solutions. The company will be offering its match data and sports technology-related products and services to international leagues, associations and media outlets, as well.

Railcam – a new way to experience the dynamics of a match
|
For the first time DFL has used a camera running on tracks in Bundesliga broadcasts. Capable of speeds of up to five metres per second, the Railcam lets viewers experience the dynamics of rapid moves from a unique perspective.

Tracking data keep the pros in focus with the Robotic Camera
|
DFL has been using a new, automated camera system since Matchday 5 of the 2020-21 Bundesliga season: The Robotic Camera locks on to a selected player and follows him fully automatically across the entire pitch using live tracking data.

UHD/HDR – enabling even more brilliant football broadcasts
|
Cooperating with Sky Deutschland, DFL once again offers viewers an improved image quality: High Dynamic Range (HDR) delivers a wide colour gamut and a higher frame rate while reducing motion blurring.
