“Sports-Performance & Technology”: officiating and analytics solutions
The U21 men's team from 1. FC Köln and the U19 team from Borussia Mönchengladbach took part in the second Innovation Game, where the technologies presented revolved around capturing and processing player, match and ball data for officiating and coaching purposes, as well as additional media uses.

US tech start-up Slate wins SportsInnovation Award
Bringing the curtain down on day one of SportsInnovation 2022, tech start-up Slate were presented with the SportsInnovation Award trophy by DFL Executive Vice-President of Digital Innovations Andreas Heyden and Sports Pro’s Director of Business Operations & Strategy Jon Abraham.
