DFL invites tenders for national media rights
An offer to football fans of all generations

The DFL is calling for tenders for the next media rights award period in the German-speaking countries. The framework for proposals is based on the proven match schedule. The award period will cover the Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 matches during the 2025/26 to 2028/29 seasons. A special focus will be on technological innovation, supported by dedicated budget funds.

DAZN, the global sport and entertainment platform, introduced its DAZN FanZone this season. The concept: to enable DAZN subscribers who love to watch live Bundesliga matches to communicate with others in a virtual watch party.

Sky Sport Fantasy: Gamification meets Bundesliga-Konferenz
Sky Bundesliga conference caters for Fantasy Manager players

On Matchdays 18 and 19, Sky implemented a new editorial live programme: Fantasy Manager experts at the studio delivered live commentary on the Bundesliga conference, interpreting the ongoing matches specifically for the perspective of fans who love to play "Kickbase" Fantasy Manager.

WOW is new Virtual Bundesliga naming right partner
WOW is the new naming right partner of the Virtual Bundesliga. The Sky streaming platform displays the WOW partner logo on all of its WOW Virtual Bundesliga (VBL) digital communication platforms and at all VBL offline tournaments and events.
 
A partnership of high strategic significance
The DFL Deutsche Fußball Liga and EA SPORTS have agreed an early, two-season extension to their long-standing partnership. The cooperation with the leading global publisher of video games, which dates back as far as 1998, will continue at least until 2027.
