Goal Arena: The international Bundesliga conference
For German football fans, watching the “Bundesliga-Konferenz” is a must.

When up to five matches take place at the same time on Saturday afternoon, plenty of goals and thrilling action on the pitch are guaranteed. For the new 2023-24 season, this successful “Made in Germany” format has been joined by an international ‘twin’: "Goal Arena - the Bundesliga Konferenz".

Sky Next Generation as an additional feed for selected Bundesliga top matches

To offer children and teen-age football viewers an experience appropriate for their age, Sky introduced a new concept in Germany last season: Media partner Sky and DFL jointly produced Sky Next Generation as an additional feed for selected Bundesliga top matches.

Stadium innovations project group: 2022-23 final report is online
The Stadium Innovations project group is a joint initiative of DFL and DFB. The participating clubs implement innovative technologies in their football stadium operations. The insights gained in their pilot projects last season have been summarised in a report which is available for download.
 
Supercup 2023: Impressions from a special perspective
Collaborating closely with clubs and media partners, the DFL once again tested innovative media production technologies during this year’s Supercup. For example, during warm-ups for the clash between FC Bayern München and RB Leipzig, two Leipzig players wore bodycams.

First certified zero-waste stadium earns Bronze status
The PreZero Arena, TSG Hoffenheim’s home stadium, is Europe’s first stadium to receive TÜV SÜD certification for their operational waste and recycling management, in pursuit of a zero-waste vision pursuant to DIN SPEC 91436.

The first partners have committed

Preparations are in full swing: SportsInnovation 2024 will take place in Düsseldorf on 20 and 21 March 2024. The first partners have committed already: ARRI, uniqFEED, SPONIX and SAIVA will all showcase their technologies and services at the MERKUR SPIEL-ARENA in Düsseldorf.
