Dear Reader,

The ball is rolling again! The season-opener between FC Bayern München and FC Schalke 04 was captured by 25 cameras including a drone, two corner flag cameras and the aerial camera system. To meet the growing demand for over-the-top (OTT) content in sports broadcasting, the DFL now offers its media partners IP-based live streaming of all matches. Additionally, Bundesliga Match Facts powered by AWS provide captivating real-time match analyses.

Preparations for the new season were extensive. The world-renowned medical and hygiene concept forms the basis for special match operations and has been updated for the new season. Our communications team has implemented a dedicated "innovations" section on the refreshed DFL corporate website and launched an official YouTube channel, including an "Innovations & Technology" playlist. Thus, there is a lot for you to explore! Enjoy reading our latest Focus: Tomorrow Newsletter!

Best regards,

Christopher Holschier
